We are currently looking for a
Scientist in Bioprocess Technology Solutions (m/f/d)
Temporary contract until December 2026
The overall goal of a Scientist is to carry out laboratory and simple project lead work aimed at the development of new products, the improvement of existing products, or solving problems in the production of existing products, according to instructions and general guidelines, in a safe and (GLP/GMP) compliant manner and where possible at own discretion and initiative.
Responsibilities
* Performs experiments based on general guidelines and instructions, possibly with reference to existing processes and methods.
* Creates a test design in consultation with Project Leader(s) and arranges the supporting work as necessary.
* Indicates deviations, investigates the cause, and makes proposals for improving / changing the experimental design.
* Records the results in the laboratory journal, interprets them and discusses them with the project team.
* Writes Subject Memos, Subject Reports and Regulations / Protocols (if necessary, in English) with moderate complexity.
* Performs operations under GxP
* Makes proposals for the introduction of new methods and techniques.
* May act as a subject matter expert in one or more (technical) fields.
* Keeps track of developments and techniques within the discipline.
* Uses literature to support product / process development.
* Will use project management skills to either lead small projects
Requirements
* Relevant education at University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule) and/or experience
* Knowledge and experience of the requirements and rules for setting up and functioning of a laboratory
* Knowledge of and experience with GxP guidelines
* Has a strong safety mindset.
* Has a strong mindset for continuous improvement.
* The ability to communicate effectively in English and German
