As an intern or working student, your responsibilities will cover a wide range of topics in automotive engineering. The main focus of your work will be on setting up measurement technology in test vehicles and carrying out minor vehicle modifications. Your tasks will also include evaluating vehicle responses in specific test cases. Vehicle handling and supporting vehicle planning round off your job profile. Our internal training program and colleagues will support you during your induction, and you will work closely with project managers and development engineers. Our learning portal is also available to you for further development opportunities, as are regular feedback meetings with your supervisor.
Your Tasks:
1. You will perform fully automated tests.
2. You will be jointly responsible for measuring technology setups in test vehicles and minor vehicle modifications.
3. You will evaluate vehicle responses in various test cases.
4. You will have the opportunity to conduct special driver training courses for driving test vehicles.
5. You will support vehicle planning and vehicle handling.
Necessary Skills:
6. Current studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a comparable qualification
7. Practical experience in vehicle conversions
8. Interest in vehicle-related topics
9. Class B driver's license
10. Very good German language skills at least at C1 level
Desired Skills:
11. Basic understanding of conventional and hybridized powertrains
12. Interest in long-term collaboration – ideally, you are just starting your studies
13. Basic programming skills
Remuneration is based on our collective agreement and pay scale. The current hourly wage for the position working student is EUR 17.52. The internship is remunerated with a monthly salary of EUR 979.
