This role has direct front-line impact on EnBW's ambition to become a top-10 European trading house. It’s all about transforming raw market data into actionable insights that drive P&L in power, gas, and carbon markets. You’ll develop forecasting tools, deliver real-time analytics that traders rely on instantly, and automate data pipelines that process terabytes of information.
6. You build, maintain, and run intraday & short-term price forecasting models (power, gas, carbon, renewables, GoOs)
7. Delivering real-time signals and risk analytics that traders use immediately is part of your daily work
8. You deep-dive into fundamental drivers: cross-border flows, weather impacts, generation outages, grid constraints, balancing markets
9. Automating everything – from data pipelines to dashboard alerts – is part of your responsibilities
Überzeugendes Profil
10. You are an enrolled student in economics, mathematics, data science, physics, or engineering
11. You want to understand how the energy world actually works
12. Strong analytical and programming skills define you – Python is a must-have in your toolkit
13. You bring a solid understanding of statistics and time-series analysis
14. Fluent spoken and written English enables effective daily work; knowledge of German is an advantage
15. You are ready to come regularly to the office in Karlsruhe
