As the HPS Lead (m/f/d) Europe, you will be part of the Heraeus Supply Chain Excellence Team – the internal consultancy driving transformation across the Heraeus Group. You will work with European sites from various industries – from medical technology to quartz glass – and drive the development and implementation of the Heraeus Production System (HPS) with passion, expertise, and measurable results.
Your Role – Shaping Operational Excellence:
In this role, you take responsibility for embedding and advancing the HPS culture across Europe. Your focus is on sustainable value creation, not short-term fixes.
Your key responsibilities:
1. Further develop, implement and actively drive the Heraeus Production System (HPS) across European sites
2. Lead and coordinate HPS assessments regionally and conduct site-level assessments annually
3. Promote a regional Lean community and foster exchange of best practices
4. Support the Six Sigma trainings (Yellow, Green, Black Belt) in Europe
5. Coach teams and leaders to embed a sustainable lean culture and mindset
6. Drive your own initiatives and support regional performance improvement projects
7. Collaborate closely with business unit and site leadership as well as global excellence peers
8. Take ownership of additional high-impact, strategic topics
Your Profile – Expertise That Inspires:
9. Several years of experience in operations or operations consulting
10. Certified and experienced Master Black Belt with strong Lean & Six Sigma track record
11. Proven ability to lead Six Sigma trainings and deploy the HPS framework
12. Confident communicator across all levels – from shopfloor to executive board
13. Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
14. Strong project management capabilities and cross-functional collaboration mindset
15. Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
16. Willingness to travel within Europe (flexible depending on project needs)
17. Hands-on approach, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for sustainable excellence
18. Proximity to Hanau is advantageous
