Be part of change
* Software development of the DSP toolbox for LiFi system
* Implementation of algorithms and software development using C++, Python or MATLAB
* Technical documentation and maintenance of the software
* Working with a team to integrate algorithms into LiFi software.
* Developing API for the LiFi software
* Conducting simulations to evaluate LiFi systems under various conditions
* Experimental verification of the simulation results
What you contribute
* Full-time student at a German university preferably in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, or physics with good to very good grades
* First experiences with algorithm development preferably using C++, Python or MATLAB
* Basic understanding of optical communication systems
* Basic knowledge of MATLAB and Python for wireless communication and signal processing
* Proactivity and interest in scientific work
* Good communication skills (German/English) and team spirit
* Hands-on laboratory experience is desirable
* Some one already in berlin or ready to move to berlin

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.
The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
