Job Description: Global Head of HR SBU Ophthalmology (m/f/x), Oberkochen
Join ZEISS as the Global Head of HR for the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Ophthalmology. In this leadership role, you will act as the strategic HR business partner for the global management team, driving transformation, operational excellence, and performance enhancement across the organization.
Responsibilities include:
1. Driving strategic and operational HR decisions in areas such as recruitment, talent development, succession planning, performance management, mergers & acquisitions, and job evaluation.
2. Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives and supporting organizational change and staff development initiatives.
3. Coaching managers in leadership development and managing succession planning processes.
4. Supporting workforce planning through HR analyses based on business needs.
5. Facilitating the implementation of global and regional HR processes and programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
6. Managing interfaces with local HR Business Managers, country HR organizations, and central HR functions.
7. Driving the harmonization and standardization of HR structures and processes across all locations.
Qualifications:
* Academic degree (bachelor's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's or relevant certifications preferred).
* Fluent in English and German.
* Several years of proven experience as an HR Business Manager in a business and sales environment, with expertise in operational HR processes and tools.
* Strong ability to develop HR strategies that align with business goals and foster employee engagement.
* Experience working effectively in a global, culturally diverse environment with excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical mindset with problem-solving and process improvement skills.
