Inyourinternshipat agloballyleadingmedicaltechnologycompany,you’llberightinthe

middleoftheaction:Asa member of the R&DSimulation team, you will primarily learn and contribute totheadvancedbonemorphologyanalysis tools forthe development of neworthopeadicmedical devices.

Our offer for you

1. You will work on our cross-site StrykerOrthopaedicModeling and Analytics (SOMA) database for bone data and 3D models tooptimizeour products.

2. You perform statistical analysis based on the 3D bone models, interpret the results and communicate them to your colleagues.

3. You work closely with international colleagues from different departments.

4. With your work, you make a significant contribution to successful product development and support marketing and scientific collaborations.

5. Within the scope of your project, you will document the process steps carried out and the findings obtained by regularly preparing reports.

What makes you stand out

6. Youareenrolledin anengineeringdegreeprogramme(e.g.biomedical engineering, medical informatics),preferablyatMaster'slevel.

7. You have a basic knowledge of anatomy and ideally some experience in medical imaging and segmentation of DICOM data.

8. You haveexperienceworking with mesh (polygon) 3D models.

9. You enjoy learning new software applications.

10. Analytical and creative problem solving are among your strengths.

11. You are proficient in MS Office applications and havea very goodcommand of English and ideally a good command of German or French.

12. You work independently, are highly motivated and committed, and are willing totakeresponsibility quickly.

Duration of your internship: 6 months (full-time)

Type of internship: We offer voluntary internships alongside your studies, compulsory internships/practical semesters, and a combination of both
