FGH is now recruiting an Accountant to reinforce its Finance and Accounting teams.
Responsibilities
* Various areas in the day-to-day bookkeeping:
* Working cross-system to process postings
* Technical (insurance activity) as well as non-technical (administrative costs) accounting responsibilities and financial (tax, amortization, etc.)
* Liaise with all internal departments
* Assist with month end closing
* Execute accurate data/figures reconciliation between various systems used by the company (accounting and core insurance systems)
* Act as an active support to other team members for all accounting related matters and providing hands-on assistance
Profile
* Recognized qualification in accounting
* At least 4 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the insurance sector
* Good knowledge of LUX GAAP, and of financial accounting
* Technical accounting within the insurance sector (reserving, calculations, etc.)
* Knowledge of SAP accounting system would be an advantage
* Communication and analytical skills
* hands-on approach and a team player
* Microsoft Office 365 suite, particularly Excel
* Professional level of English is mandatory. German and/or French are regarded as an advantage
