What you can expect To strengthen our development team at our location in Stutensee (Karlsruhe area), we are looking for a
Development Engineer for Ultrasonic Measurement Technology (all genders welcome)
The ROSEN Group ensures the safe operation of industrial plants with inspection systems used worldwide. In constant growth, ROSEN is constantly exploring new areas of application. As a development engineer with a focus on measurement and sensor technology, you will work independently on the further development of Ultrasound measurement systems. In an interdisciplinary team, you will act as a sparring partner in the brainstorming process and be responsible for the definition and selection of suitable sensor technology, the area of application of which you will verify experimentally.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
* Design and implementation of metrological methods based on ultrasonic technology for non-destructive material testing
* Further development of methods for the evaluation of sensor systems
* Integration, optimization and evaluation of sensors in the overall system
* Analysis and evaluation of the measured data and derivation of specifications
* Planning and implementation of scientific experiments in a team
* Central technical contact for sensor concepts
* Interdisciplinary cooperation with other departments (e.g. algorithm development, design, electrical engineering, production)
What you will bring
To become part of the ROSEN family,
you convince with an independent and reliable way of working. You will also bring:
* Completed studies with a focus on physics, sensor technology, electrical engineering or comparable training
* Sound knowledge of laboratory work, with metrological systems and sensor technologies, ideally for non-destructive materials testing
* Experience with laboratory automation and laboratory data acquisition software (LabView) is an advantage
* Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits
* A well-founded, wide-ranging basic understanding of technology and physics
* Basic programming skills, ideally in Python or other visual programming languages
* Good knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken), knowledge of the German language is a plus
