In your role as a Threat Intelligence Analyst (f/m/d), you will be essential in monitoring and assessing cyber and geopolitical developments that impact Siemens Energy’s global operations. Your day will involve analyzing open-source intelligence and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders, contributing to threat assessments, and collaborating with internal and external partners to enhance our proactive risk posture. You will support incident response efforts with contextual intelligence during crises, participate in intelligence briefings, and help optimize our threat intelligence capabilities. With a strong foundation in cybersecurity and geopolitical analysis, you will effectively communicate complex developments and prioritize high-impact risks in a fast-paced environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
7. Monitor and assess cyber, geopolitical developments, regional conflicts, and physical security threats that may impact Siemens Energy global operations
8. Analyze open-source intelligence (OSINT), cybersecurity news, media reporting, and geopolitical indicators to deliver timely, relevant, and actionable intelligence to business stakeholders and leadership.
9. Contribute to threat assessments and alerts on emerging risks across critical regions, supporting cyber risk mitigation efforts and situational awareness across physical and cyber domains.
10. Collaborate with internal security functions and external intelligence providers to shape a coordinated intelligence picture for proactive risk posture and resilience.
11. Support cyber and physical incident response and crisis communication with contextual intelligence during geopolitical or localized security events.
12. Participate in intelligence briefings, contribute to red/blue team exercises, and help shape intelligence driven threat models as well as optimize the intelligence lifecycle from collection and analysis to dissemination enabling innovation in our threat intelligence capabilities.
What You Bring
13. A university degree in IT, Security Studies, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, along with several years of experience in threat intelligence, geopolitical analysis, or physical security risk monitoring within a corporate or government setting.
14. Familiarity with intelligence frameworks (, the Intelligence Cycle, Diamond Model, Kill Chain) and have hands on experience with OSINT tools, geopolitical sources, and threat actor tracking platforms.
15. Demonstrable experience analyzing regional conflicts, political instability, activism, and threat actors that can disrupt corporate operations or reputations.
16. Strong communication skills, enabling you to translate complex geopolitical developments into practical insights for leadership and operational teams.
17. Composure in fast-paced or crisis environments, with the ability to prioritize high-impact risks effectively while embracing a proactive, curiosity-driven mindset being eager to bring innovation to a maturing threat intelligence capability.
18. Collaborative experience in global networks, with business-fluent English skills; additional language skills, especially German, are a plus.
