Our client, an international manufacturing company, is entering the execution phase of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations rollout.
After a preparation phase in late 2025, the focus from January 2026 onwards is on Finance setup, stabilization, and integration with Supply Chain processes, targeting a Go-Live in July 2026.
We are looking for a Senior D365FO Finance Consultant to support the Finance stream during rollout and Go-Live.
Location: Hybrid (Remote + Travel to Germany)
Start: January 2026
Contract: Freelance
Duration: 3–6 months (extension possible)
Languages: English (very good), French a plus, German nice to have
Tasks
* Configure and validate D365FO Finance modules (General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Accounting)
* Set up and review posting profiles, financial dimensions, calendars, currencies, and tax configurations
* Ensure correct integration between Finance and Supply Chain / Warehouse processes
* Support data migration, opening balances, and finance-related testing (UAT)
* Work closely with the Project Lead and SCM/WMS consultants
* Support key users with workshops, training sessions, and documentation
* Assist during cutover, Go-Live, and hypercare phases
* Ensure finance processes are audit-ready and compliant
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations – Finance
* Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting
* Hands-on experience with Finance setup and rollout projects
* Solid understanding of Finance–SCM integration
* Experience in German-speaking customer environments
* Very good English; French is a plus
