Who we are
Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The Strategy department is responsible for the development and implementation of the global PowerCo strategy. Responsibilities range from strategy development, market intelligence and business development to strategic partner management.
Your role and key responsibilities
* End-to-end investments process management with the relevant departments and the representatives PowerCo's invested companies (incl. stakeholder management, evaluation of governance structures, conducting negotiations, and drafting contracts)
* Evaluation, modelling & challenging of business plans as well as Profit & Loss, Balance and Cash-Flow statements and forecasts, incl. financial benchmarking and scenario analyses
* Key account for non-controlled shareholding management and PowerCo departments; preparation of decision materials for and communication with top decision makers of PowerCo and PowerCo's invested companies
* Support of shareholder meetings and Board of Directors meetings
* Management of cross-functional international projects and interdisciplinary project teams
What you bring to the team
* Bachelor’s /Master's degree in business administration/finance/industrial engineering/business informatics/business law
* In-depth relevant professional experience in Finance & Governance topics (e.g. business plan modeling / valuation, governance of non-controlled shareholdings)
* Several years of relevant professional experience in an international strategy consultancy, audit firm (Big4), investment bank or comparable corporate position
* Experience in managing complex interdisciplinary projects with external international partners; negotiation experience desirable
* Extensive knowledge in the preparation of business models and business plans as well as benchmarking and scenario analyses; in-depth knowledge of IFRS desirable
* Independent, structured and results-orientated way of working as well as excellent and target group-oriented communication skills
* Excellent communication skills and business fluency in German and English is a must
