We’re hiring: EHS Manager – Germany
TSL Projects is looking for an EHS Manager to support and drive Health, Safety & Environmental performance across our construction projects in Germany.
This is a key role for someone who wants to take ownership on-site, work closely with project teams and contractors, and contribute to building a strong safety culture across international projects.
The Role
As an EHS Manager, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS standards on-site. You’ll work closely with project teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, manage risks, and promote a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and management systems across projects
* Ensure compliance with German construction regulations (ArbSchG, BaustellV, DGUV, etc.)
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks
* Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and permits-to-work
* Monitor contractor EHS performance and support improvement actions
* Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
* Support the preparation of EHS documentation, plans, and reports
* Collaborate with project, procurement, and commercial teams on EHS matters
* Deliver toolbox talks and support EHS training initiatives
What We’re Looking For
* Degree or qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or related field
* 3–6 years of experience in an EHS role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
* Good knowledge of German EHS legislation and standards
* Experience working on-site and interacting with contractors and project teams
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proactive mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving approach
