How you will spend your time as our next IT Communications & Marketing Manager:
As our IT Communications & Marketing Manager, you’ll ensure that IT projects, successes, and services are communicated clearly, consistently, and creatively. You’ll support internal and external campaigns, develop storytelling formats, and manage IT content across various channels. You will help IT to connect, inspire, and lead through communication.
1. Develop and deliver communication strategies for IT initiatives and services
2. Create engaging content like newsletters, videos, presentations, and intranet articles
3. Act as a communications partner for the CIO and IT leadership team
4. Promote IT's image through internal campaigns and external platforms such as LinkedIn
5. Collaborate with HR and corporate communications to support IT hiring campaigns and position IT as a top employer
6. Develop internal storytelling formats such as success stories and employee spotlights to showcase IT's achievements and culture
7. Plan and manage communication for IT changes, rollouts, and transformation programmes
8. Drive engagement through formats like town halls, newsletters, surveys, and regular feedback loops
9. Use targeted messaging to strengthen collaboration between IT and business functions
10. Take ownership of IT content across platforms such as the intranet, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
11. Ensure all communication aligns with corporate branding and messaging standards
What we expect of you:
12. A degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field
13. 3–5 years of experience in internal communications, IT marketing, or change communication, ideally in an international and/or technology-focused environment
14. Excellent storytelling and content creation skills, including visual and video formats
15. Strong ability to translate complex IT topics into clear and engaging messages
16. Familiarity with digital communication tools like Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and LinkedIn
17. A flair for visual communication and an understanding of working across diverse cultures
18. A proactive mindset and strong service orientation
19. Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment
20. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations
21. A strong command of spoken and written English is a must, and knowledge of German is a plus
