We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Senior Solutions Design Manager Europe & MEA – Warehouse Design. In this position you will play a crucial role to lead and strategize complex warehouse design projects across our Europe & MEA countries and clusters. You will collaborate closely with our commercial team to understand customer requirements and co-develop impactful technical solutions where you can showcase your expertise, drive customer success, and shape the future of warehouse design!
*Develop and design high technical/commercial warehouse solutions together with the project team
Model scenarios of current and future operational solutions, and present and advise alternative cost-benefit analysis and value models
Support the development of a commercial framework for your proposed innovative solution with Business Development & Key Account Managers in order to achieve DSC's growth, contract retention, and continuous improvement objectives.
You won’t find another Senior Solutions Design Manager Europe & MEA – Warehouse Design position like the one you’ll find with DHL Supply Chain. Previous exposure to modeling and designing of complex warehousing solutions or domestic transport network, logistics/site operations, etc.
~ Previous experience/knowledge in project management within supply chain environment
~ Advanced knowledge in data analysis using Excel
~ Ability to work successfully in a complex and international environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
~ A master’s degree in (or with a focus on) Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering
~ English & German fluency at business level
Good understanding of all solutions design tools, techniques, and procedures
Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, SketchUp or similar tools
