Key Responsibilities:
* Acquiring new customers, including abroad if necessary, as well as maintaining and expanding existing customer base in the field
* Identifying market potential among new customers and target customers in the marine & defence sector
* Preparation of market and competition analyses
* Technical and commercial processing of enquiries, quotations and orders
* Implementation of the company's operational market targets
* Interface between product development, project management and purchasing
* Participation in marketing campaigns and customer loyalty measures
* Representation at trade fairs and congresses
* Ensuring and expanding customer satisfaction
Job Requirements
* Completed technical degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering, or technical training and several years of experience as a technician in a sales role
* Extensive and indepth experience in technical sales of products requiring explanation (national and international), ideally in the areas of cables, connectors or cable systems
* Confident MS Office skills and good CRM (Salesforce) experience
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Confident manner, ability to work in a team and assertiveness
* Business fluent German and English
* Willingness to travel extensively in the UK and abroad
