Type of contract: Permanent, on-site/hybrid Location: Augsburg, Germany
Main tasks:
* Working in a team: You will be working on exciting topics related to the multilingual car rental comparison, from landing pages to booking processes to self-services in the customer area after booking. You will work closely with the backend team to integrate REST APIs and backend systems.
* Taking responsibility: You will be responsible for the technical implementation of product improvements and further developing the web frontends for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
* Optimizing the Tech Stack: You will help to further develop the current state-of-the-art Tech Stack of the entire application.
* Ensuring coordination and communication: You will implement innovative features in close collaboration with product managers and contribute your own ideas.
Requirements
* Education: Completed training as an IT specialist or a comparable education in IT, or a degree in computer science
* Practical experience: Initial professional experience in development and understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
* Tech Stack: Knowledge of JavaScript and a JavaScript framework (React, Angular, etc.), initial experience in using the Linux shell, and good knowledge of HTML and CSS
* Digital Mindset: Passion and interest in web development and a sense for UI/UX
* Drive and Spirit: Strong quality awareness, hands-on mentality, very good communication skills and teamwork, as well as high willingness to perform
* Language skills: Negotiation-proof knowledge of German as well as good knowledge of English
