All3 is transforming how buildings are conceived, developed, and delivered. We combine AI-powered design with robotic prefabrication to build custom architecture at the cost and speed of mass production — unlocking even the most complex sites.
We’re currently seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our team, focused on drastically reducing the time needed for domain experts to create production-ready building models. Leveraging parametric computations and genetic algorithms, our aim is to develop cost-effective and environmentally friendly architectures, revolutionizing the construction landscape.
You would be responsible for advancing structural models and documentation to LP5 — either independently for smaller projects or by coordinating with external structural design contractors. Secondary tasks would include contributing to early-stage design (developing structural systems, selecting component types and joints), and participating in product development (consulting with the team behind All3's internal software, developing new structural details).
Responsibilities:
* Finalize structural models generated by All3's internal software to LP5 stage;
* Build analytical models in FEM software and perform structural calculations, including building stability and resistance;
* Adapt or develop new structural components from our library for project-specific needs;
* Produce construction documentation in German, following local format and standards;
* Coordinate with external structural engineering consultants and design partners;
* Prepare Leistungsverzeichnis (construction-specific bills of quantities);
* Assist in developing structural concepts at early design stages;
* Provide the All3 software team with feedback on calculation logic and contribute to new feature development;
* Validate and verify internal algorithms used for structural computation within All3's internal software.
Expertise:
* 3–5+ years of experience in structural design of timber buildings (especially CLT and GLT) within Germany;
* Deep understanding of German building regulations and technical standards;
* Fluent German (technical/construction vocabulary) and proficient English;
* Certified structural engineer eligible to sign off construction documentation in Germany (e.g. Nachweisberechtigter Statiker or equivalent);
* Hands-on experience with FEM software (e.g. Dlubal RFEM);
* Familiarity with Revit or other BIM workflows.
We Offer:
* Chance to be a part of a large-scale project;
* Team driven by impactful cause;
* Remote format of work in Germany;
* Language courses;
* Flexible working schedule;
* 28 days of annual leave.
