This position can be filled in any country within the EMEA region where our company is present.
- Support the development and execution of the ERM framework, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks across the organization
- Support the continuous improvement of the risk management framework, including policies, procedures, trainings and risk metrics
- Facilitate the implementation and maintenance efforts of ERM systems and digital tools
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks across the enterprise, including operational, financial, regulatory, strategic, emerging and reputational risks
- Lead the coordination of enterprise-wide risk assessments, working closely with business units and regions to understand the full spectrum of risks facing the organization
- Apply comprehensive risk monitoring, including key risk indicators (KRIs) and dashboards to track the organization’s risk exposure
- Ensure timely escalation of significant risk issues to senior management
- Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and other functions to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management
- Work with business units and corporate functions to ensure implementation of risk mitigation strategies
- Oversee the design and effectiveness of internal controls, ensuring they are aligned with the organization’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements
- Drive the implementation of risk mitigation plans and monitor their effectiveness in reducing exposure
- Stay current with emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
- Ensure the company’s risk management framework complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards and respond to regulatory bodies on risk management matters as needed
- Contribute to risk-related projects and initiatives and perform all other essential duties as assigned
Ihre Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and managing enterprise risk and controls frameworks
- Proven experience in managing risk across large, complex organizations
- Industry certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or similar are highly desirable
- Medical device, pharmaceutical, life science, or healthcare industries experience with experience implementing risk and
compliance programs is preferred
- Experience working in multi-national organization and leading projects involving stakeholders from different jurisdictions and functions. Exposure to Asian cultures is an asset
- Proficiency in risk management tools and GRC platforms is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a global organization and foster a culture of risk awareness
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters in the areas of Compliance, Risk Management, Privacy and Information Security including under pressure and in crisis situations
