Your Tasks:
* Investigation of power system switching/lightning transients, insulation coordination, resonance (SSR, SSTI) and converter-driven stability
* Acquisition and execution of power system studies related to EMT
* Technical support of our national and international customers as modelling and simulation expert for power system transients
* Planning and execution of training and seminars worldwide about EMT and other topics related to power system analysis
* Development and improvement of PowerFactory application examples and guidelines
* Support of the PowerFactory-development related to EMT-simulation, corresponding models, co-simulation and corresponding interfaces
* Attending international conferences and trade fairs as well as participating in working groups in your field of expertise
* Product presentations and technical support for sales processes
Your Profile:
* Degree (Masters/ PhD) in Electrical Power Engineering
* Experience in the analysis of power system transients
* Experience with PowerFactory or other established EMT tools
* Skills in Python or other scripting languages are of advantage
* Experience with modelling in DSL/Modelica is beneficial
* Willingness to extend your expert knowledge in other fields
* Ability to communicate, collaborate and interact with clients and project members
* Willingness to travel
