Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead the complex process engineering design assignments, supporting project delivery excellence, and driving innovation within a world-class minerals processing business.
As the Principal Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Design Leadership: Lead and coordinate the process design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering outputs that meet client and project requirements.
* Technical Expertise: Resolve technically challenging design problems, define design methods, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
* Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Interface across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning to ensure integrated project delivery.
* Quality & Standards: Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and updating standard specifications and drawings.
* Client & Commercial Engagement: Support client interface, contribute to technical content of bids, and ensure technical risks are managed.
You are an experienced Principal Process Engineer with the following qualifications and background:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Metallurgy, or Process Engineering.
* Eligible to hold the professional title of "Ingenieur" or "Ingenieurin" in Germany.
* Minimum 15 years of experience in a design, consultancy, or operational engineering environment.
* Strong background in minerals processing and chemical plant projects.
* Proven leadership in managing technical teams.
* Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project is desirable.
