Additionally, you hold a growth dialogue with a direct report to discuss their career development and future tasks. Before wrapping up, you prepare for a training workshop aimed at identifying the team’s core competencies and creating a detailed onboarding plan for new employees.How You’ll Make an Impact
8. Direct a specialized team of electrical engineers, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement while building a diverse and inclusive team environment
9. Oversee the creation and validation of advanced electrical models for electrolysis and converter systems, ensuring technical accuracy and efficiency
10. Support project execution and development with grid code compliance by providing well-trained resources and optimizing the Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP) for enhanced reliability and cost-effectiveness
11. Guide the design and development of converter control systems to ensure high performance and stability, while contributing to strategic planning that aligns technical objectives with the company’s growth and sustainability targets
12. Champion innovative solutions and technologies, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and external partners to ensure cohesive project execution and stay ahead of industry trends
13. Engage with international clients, partners, and consortiums to promote effective communication and collaboration, while managing resource planning, recruitment, and development for long-term team success
What You Bring
14. Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering or similar, with a strong focus on electrical power engineering, power electronics, grid simulation or system/control stability
15. Long-term experience in electrical power or power electronics engineering, with significant leadership experience and expertise in electrolysis applications
16. Deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, electrical high-power components, converter systems, and high-current applications
17. Proven ability to lead intercultural teams, with a focus on innovation, strategic development, and customer orientation
18. Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration with a broad range of global stakeholders
19. Strong sense of ownership and vision for related scopes and tasks, with an interest in intercultural collaboration and a willingness for international travel
