* Ensure seamless operations: You will act as the primary liaison between the PLM team, R&D Software Development, and Group IT, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our PLM Artifactory repository.
* Collaborate for efficiency: Together with the PLM Architect and R&D teams, you will optimize processes and storage, ensuring cost-effective artifact management.
* Resolve operational issues: You will analyze problems and present solutions to the PLM team and Group IT, ensuring smooth operations.
* Maintain and update systems: You will perform software installations, updates, and tests, staying updated with the latest technologies to recommend improvements.
* Support our users: You will provide first-level user support, manage licenses and access, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation for best practices.
What makes us successful together
* Qualification: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in managing Artifactory or similar artifact repository systems.
* Know-how and Skills: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and CI/CD processes, proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python), and Rest API for system integration.
* Nice to Have: Experience with virtual or cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
* Personality: Your excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail make you a valuable team player. You thrive in a collaborative team environment.
* Language Skills: you speak English fluently; German is a plus.
