The Opportunity
You’ll lead our commercial efforts in Germany – shaping market strategy, closing PPAs, managing high-value customer relationships, and helping to build a best-in-class local team. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on autonomy, execution, and seeing strategy turn into results.
What You'll Do
Define and lead their commercial approach for Germany
Build a strong sales pipeline and guide prospects from lead to signature
Own relationships with industrial energy buyers and key stakeholders
Develop tailored proposals and lead PPA negotiations
Collaborate with internal teams (technical, legal, land, finance) to align on delivery
Support team building and local hiring as they grow
What You Bring
A track record in commercial roles within renewables or energy markets
Knowledge of the German energy landscape, especially industrial demand-side markets
Experience negotiating PPAs or large energy contracts
C1-level German and fluent English
A strategic mindset with the ability to get hands-on and drive deals forward
Strong stakeholder management and client engagement skills
Bonus Points For
Exposure to IPPs, private wire, or behind-the-meter models
Experience with energy storage, onshore wind or grid-side infrastructure
Involvement in launching new markets or commercial teams
