BCIC Swiss GmbH (Best Connect International Company) is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our on-site team in Germany. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, technology-driven environment supporting enterprise-level IT systems.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide first- and second-level contact and problem resolution for user issues.
2. Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues.
3. Ensure timely communication and updates on issue status and resolution.
4. Maintain accurate ticket updates for all reported incidents.
5. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP and Cisco Jabber (authorized desktop applications).
6. Support Apple PC users with basic knowledge of the macOS operating system.
7. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
8. Perform preventive maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
9. Conduct repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other authorized peripherals.
10. Use diagnostic tools to resolve issues related to network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
11. Demonstrate broad IT experience with an understanding of networks, servers, audio/visual systems, smart devices, and telecoms.
12. Work effectively in a project-based environment, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
13. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Must hold a valid work permit in Germany .
* Several years of professional experience in IT support .
* German language proficiency at B2 level (minimum).
