About The Role
We’re looking for a Community Manager to help us engage, support and grow our local Omaze community. From house-draw dreamers to charity champions, you’ll be the voice of Omaze across platforms — turning passive followers into active brand advocates.
You’ll own day-to-day engagement across our German social channels, ensure everything we say feels authentically local, and help shape a community experience that’s joyful, inclusive, and mission-aligned.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Engage daily with our German audience on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok — replying to comments, DMs, and questions with empathy and personality.
* Craft on-brand copy in German, tailored to our tone of voice and aligned with local culture.
* Monitor sentiment, spot trends, and flag emerging topics or potential risks.
* Collaborate with Creative & Marketing teams to bring community-led content ideas to life.
* Help localise content for our German audience with clarity, nuance, and cultural relevance.
* Gather insights and share community feedback to improve content, messaging, and user experience.
* Support broader marketing campaigns, bringing the community lens into everything we do.
🤩 About You
* German is your first language level and you’re fluent in English — with exceptional writing and editing skills in both.
* You know how to build genuine online relationships and foster trust with digital communities.
* You’re strategic and empathetic — able to balance brand priorities with customer needs.
* You’ve worked in a fast-paced marketing or social media team before.
* You’re curious, creative, and proactive, always bringing new ideas to the table.
* You’re familiar with tools like Hootsuite, or similar community management platforms.
* You care deeply about customer experience and making a positive impact in the world.
