HIGHLIGHTS
Grainli is a forward-thinking player in the agricultural trade sector with a growing presence in the pet food market. To strengthen its team, the company is seeking an International Commercial Manager Pet Food. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy for pet food across global markets, while building valuable industry relationships that directly contribute to the company's growth ambitions.

What are you going to do?
As International Commercial Manager Pet Food at Grainli, you will lead the development of new markets in the pet food sector while managing key customer relationships. You will expand the ingredients portfolio, focusing on plant-based and functional ingredients, with the option to include animal by-products. Your expertise will help position Grainli as a knowledge leader in the pet food space. You will work closely with internal teams to implement commercial strategies and represent the company at industry events.

Tasks and responsibilities:

* Identify and develop new markets in the pet food sector
* Build and maintain strong relationships to enhance the customer experience
* Manage and expand our ingredients portfolio for pet food (Plant-based and functional ingredients, but also animal by-products are optional)
* Achieve expert status for key ingredients within the company
* Work closely with various internal teams to execute strategies
* Represent Grainli at networking events like trade shows but also at conferences and customer events
* Create and maintain a system for up-to-date market data in your area
* Drive the commercial strategy of the department
* Incorporate Grainli's values into your work
* Leverage social media to communicate with partners (currently LinkedIn)

Job requirements:

* At least 3 years of experience in international commercial roles within feed ingredients (experience in pet food is a plus)
* Existing network and strong contacts in the pet food, feed, or agricultural sectors
* Fluent in English; proficiency in another language relevant to target markets is a plus
* Strong sales skills with a proven ability to close deals
* Knowledge of international business practices across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas
* Experience representing companies at industry events and trade shows
* Willingness to travel regularly to the Hamburg office (hybrid working model)
