The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the finance department plays a key role. The unit takes care of all financial processes within the company. The responsibilities vary from preparation of product- and production sites decision to record and analyze all financial company transactions in SAP S4 Hana cloud.
How you will CELLebrate
* VAT advice in Germany and abroad on contracts and business decisions
* Ensuring VAT compliance during the ramp-up of PowerCo Group's supply chain
* Contact for the tax functions of the subsidiaries
* Set-up of VAT determination in S4/Hana
* Definition of requirements in case of changes to the law
* Support fulfillment of reporting obligations (VAT returns, input VAT, etc.)
* Coordination of external consultants in Germany and abroad
* Conduct VAT training courses
What you need for our CELLebration
* Successfully completed studies in economics with a focus on taxes
* Several years of practical professional experience in the tax department of an industrial company or as a consultant in a comparable function
* Degree as tax advisor (Germany: Steuerberater), optional degree as specialist consultant for customs and VAT (Germany: Fachberater für Zölle und Verbrauchsteuern)
* Very good knowledge of VAT tax law
* Ability to communicate complex issues in a comprehensible and understandable way
* Business fluent in written and spoken English and German
