About this role: Laboratory Technician is a vital position within our Research & Development team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for developing new products that meet our company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and maintain application testing protocols; optimize equipment (e.g., test equipment)
* Perform daily tasks in the laboratory as required
* Contribute to the formulation and research of new and existing products
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance product development and implementation in the Industrial InkJet segments where applicable
* Provide regular updates on project progress, including communication with project leaders
About You:
* Practical experience in a laboratory environment
* Minimum 5 GCSEs (A*-C / 4+) with emphasis on science subjects and A Levels in Chemistry/Biology/Physics or related discipline. Degree in Chemistry/Science related subject preferred
* Competent in the use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
* Able to devise test methods, analyze results, and disseminate them in a professional and effective way
* Strong team player
* Able to take ownership and responsibility of their work and think for themselves while being receptive to feedback to continuously improve the quality of the development
