The successful candidate will contribute to teaching activities related to the local Information Systems BSc, MSc, and PhD programs. In particular, the professorship is expected to contribute to the business process management major in our master's program, and to hold the Operations Management lecture in the bachelor's degree program. The successful candidate is also expected to be involved in the continuous development of our degree programs and to pioneer and remain a leader in the field of information systems education. We expect the successful candidate to publish in established information systems outlets and actively contribute to the international information systems community. Beyond academic scholarly journals, we value an active dialogue with industry and society, and recognise publications in leading international practice outlets such as those previously mentioned. Candidates should possess a well-articulated approach to mentoring and supervising PhD students that fosters an environment conducive to academic and research excellence. Responsibilities also encompass handling administrative tasks and contributing to the academic governance of the department, school, and university. German language proficiency is not a prerequisite. Candidates can deliver all lectures in English, and meetings will be held in English as well.
