Job Description:
We are seeking a Head of Sales LE Central Europe (x|f|m) for our Lab Products & Services Sales team in the EMEA region. This home-based role within Germany involves leading the Central Europe Lab Essentials sales organization to meet growth and profitability targets. Responsibilities include developing customer-centric sales strategies, building customer relationships, managing a sales team, and utilizing our CRM (SFDC) for data-driven decisions.
This full-time position offers flexibility with remote work and some on-site days in Göttingen.
Key responsibilities:
1. Consolidate the annual sales budget and lead forecasting processes
2. Define and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
3. Build and develop a high-performing sales team
4. Collaborate internally to align sales with company strategy
5. Strengthen customer relationships with tailored solutions
6. Represent Sartorius at industry events
7. Ensure effective use of SFDC and analyze sales data for optimization
8. Lead change initiatives within the sales organization
Qualifications include a university degree in business, Life Science, or related fields, extensive sales experience within the Life Science industry, leadership of international technical teams, strategic selling skills, and fluency in English and German. Willingness to travel within the D-A-CH region (up to 50%) and alignment with our values of Sustainability, Openness, and Enjoyment are also required.
