Responsibilities
Your role
The role typically consists of the following activities
 1. Interface with the Client to interpret scope and requirements.
 2. Prepare and maintain the DeLPD (Digitally Enabled Lean Project Delivery) Execution Plan.
 3. Overall responsibility for managing the 3D modelling design from early phase to end of detailed design
 4. Lead the space management and co-ordination for projects, including equipment stack-up studies, pipe rack & services design, room layout etc.
 5. Take part in design risk assessments.
 6. Develop and manage the discipline estimates and resource loading for DeLPD administration support.
 7. Manage and interface with 3D design leads including 3rd Party Designers
As the project has moved from the design to the construction stage the role will put particular emphasis on the following activities
 8. Overall responsibility for managing the 3D modelling design
 9. Lead the space management and co-ordination
 10. Manage and interface with 3D design leads including 3rd Party Designers 
 11. Chair weekly internal model design co-ordination meetings
 12. Manage the co-ordination of all design disciplines in the model and their space allocations (both internal and external) and resolve identified design coordination issues.
 13. Expedite weekly vendor information that modelers need to complete their work.
 14. Manage closeout of action items during
 15. design reviews
 16. clash reports
 17. Expedite clash resolution actions
 18. Manage the deliverable issue schedule as it relates to the 3-D model versus the construction schedule needs
 19. Manage changes to scope & requirements, identify resulting changes to the technical disciplines and the Project Manager.
Qualifications
Your Profile
 20. Ideally Degree educated in an Engineering or Architectural discipline is strongly preferred.
 21. Ideally 10+ years of design experience in the BioPharmaceutical sector or similar sectors.
 22. An understanding of all Disciplines and their 3D applications.
 23. The candidate must have a complete understanding of technical principles, theories and the concepts of spatial design of complex process facilities including but not limited to process piping design.
 24. Knowledge of international and German standards with regards safe operation and maintenance impacting building layout design.
 25. Commercially aware with the ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies to provide cost effective solutions for our clients.
 26. Commercially aware on project execution, control of budgets, resourcing and change control.
 27. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents
 28. Professional approach with a strong ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection and business.
 29. Ability to play a positive role in multi-discipline teams with a reliable, consistent and mature approach to work.
 30. Full proficiency in German and English.
