The company's German subsidiary distributes its products, including software and service. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Infrastructure Business Area Project Office division in Ratingen as a Sales and Business Development Manager.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and building long-term connections with key stakeholders in the data center sector and other industries across Europe where UPS systems are required.
* Promoting and selling our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
* Providing technical guidance and expertise to clients, ensuring the UPS systems are configured to meet their operational needs and future growth plans.
* Monitoring competitors and analyzing industry trends, including market developments and emerging technologies.
* Reporting sales results to management on a monthly basis.
For this position, we require:
* Experience in selling UPS systems to the data center sector and other industries in Europe.
* A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably with a focus on technical solutions for data centers, electrical infrastructure, or similar sectors.
* Technical background or certifications in UPS systems, power management, and/or energy solutions would be considered a plus.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* A results-driven and proactive approach to identifying client needs, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
* Fluency in English and a willingness to travel in Europe and globally.
