Are you passionate about payroll, regulatory compliance, and personnel management? This is your opportunity to join our team in Berlin!
1. Manage the (outsourced) payroll process for France, covering multiple legal entities.
2. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and proper payroll record maintenance.
3. Keep GEA’s global and local policies up to date and integrated into the payroll process.
4. Work closely with local HRBPs and our central HR resource center in Berlin on daily tasks and provide support for projects.
5. Ensure timely payment of salaries, taxes, and applicable social security contributions.
6. Respond to employee inquiries, escalating questions and concerns when necessary.
7. Serve as a responsible backup in case of absences.
Your Profile / Qualifications
8. University degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
9. Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing within a multinational environment.
10. Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
11. French native & English fluent (C1 level).
12. Proficiency in payroll software, Microsoft Office, Workday, and various HR systems.
13. Knowledge of PeopleNet Cegid tool, good Excel level
14. Knowledge of the Metallurgy Convention and labour law
15. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
16. Strong organizational and time management skills.
17. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
