Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Director of Leasing to provide leasing expertise and support on our Sony Center asset-management team. In this role, you will oversee the leasing of the Sony Center, which is undergoing a €200M+ market-leading redevelopment and repositioning. You will be responsible for developing the leasing strategy, leading broker relations, and managing all aspects of leasing transactions including prospecting, responding to inquiries, touring, drafting offers, lease negotiations, and managing tenant relations before, during, and after fit-out.

Note: Fluency in both English and German is required.
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
* Actively participate in new tenant prospecting and business development
* Negotiate offers and leases with assistance from legal counsel
* Lead day-to-day leasing responsibilities and your team to meet leasing objectives, ensuring all vacancies are ready for immediate occupancy and KPIs are met
* Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy and maximize rents
* Coordinate with asset management, brokers, tenants, legal, and property management to achieve leasing goals and resolve conflicts
* Conduct tenant tours, presentations, and meetings
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with brokers, tenants, and owners
* Maintain contacts and gain exposure to international tenants and representatives
* Attend industry functions and participate in industry committees
* Prepare annual leasing budgets and provide quarterly updates to stakeholders
To succeed in this role, you have:
* College diploma or university degree
* Brokerage license (not required)
* 5-10 years of leasing experience
* Strong tenant and broker relationships in Berlin
* Strong sales, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
* Proven ability to establish and maintain business relationships
* Technical skills including financial analysis, presentations, and reporting
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage priorities
* Results-driven with creative thinking
