Overview
As part of the EMEA Field Marketing team, the Market Development Director - Product will be responsible for building a regional growth strategy that delivers AOP across the markets for instrumentation, software and service. Commercially driven and results oriented the Market Development Director – Product will lead a team of market development managers to develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies, generate demand, expand our digital footprint and support commercial execution for key product lines. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with the global business segments, global strategic marketing initiative leads, global marketing, regional commercial leads and regional functional teams.
Responsibilities
* Build a regional business growth strategy in alignment with the global annual operating plan, collaborating with Business Segment Leads, Strategic Marketing Leads and Regional GMs.
* Translate the growth strategy into measurable marketing initiatives that fuel demand generation, accelerate market entry and expand our footprint in new and emerging territories.
* Design and execute a Regional New Product Introduction (NPI) model, defining key commercial milestones, assembling a cross-functional core team and ensuring periodic re-evaluation of market acceptance and value proposition.
* Provide market intelligence and competitive insights—win/loss analysis, customer segmentation and trend reports—to support regional expansion and inform weekly and quarterly business reviews.
* Build a demand generation engine in partnership with the EMEA demand gen and global marketing teams, targeting high-value segments to deliver double-digit growth to the regional funnel.
* Lead and develop a high-performance team of Market Development Managers, instilling a culture of accountability, creativity and cross-functional collaboration to optimize marketing impact and ROI.
What You Bring
* Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or life science discipline
* Deep knowledge of mass spectrometry and chromatography instrumentation, software and services.
* 10+ years of experience of experience in marketing and/or business development
* Experience in developing marketing strategies and integrated campaigns to drive business growth
* Proven ability to develop go -to- market plans, execute to targets and adapt to changing demands.
* Strong interpersonal skills: effective communication, creative problem-solving and a customer-centric mindset.
* Up to 30% international travel to engage key markets and stakeholders.
