Job Description
* As a Senior Manager Pricing Strategy (f/m/div.), you will design and champion a world-class competitive intelligence program, transforming market insights into a decisive competitive advantage for our global portfolio.
* You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Management, Sales, Controlling, Marketing) to ensure comprehensive alignment and successful implementation of pricing strategies.
* You will lead and facilitate value-based pricing workshops with cross-functional teams, both nationally and internationally, acting as the catalyst for a powerful and unified pricing strategy across the organization.
* Furthermore you will conduct market research to gather data on customer preferences, competitive pricing, and market dynamics, ensuring our strategies are market-led.
* You will develop sophisticated analytical models and maintain comprehensive dashboards (e.g., in Data Cloud) to monitor important pricing performance indicators, go beyond simple reporting to provide actionable, forward-looking insights to senior management, directly influencing critical business decisions.
* Finally, you will be a Change Agent and lead proactively identify opportunities to revolutionize our pricing architecture and processes, from concept to implementation.
* You will lead changes in global key pricing processes that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability across the business, driving continuous improvement in our pricing operations.
Qualifications
* Education: Completed degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a comparable qualification
* Personality and Working Style: Team-oriented, strong communication and moderation skills, independent and structured working style, experience in leading small, fast-paced projects is an advantage, negotiation skills and pricing expertise, entrepreneurial thinking, strong result orientation, proactive and resilient personality
* Experience and Know-How: Strong expertise and proven track record in pricing strategy and execution, with the ability to conduct complex price analyses. Knowledge and experience in pricing models in capital equipment, software and service; Professional Pricing Certification is desirable (can be obtained later if needed). Experience in applying data-driven methods and ideally basic knowledge of data science and AI to support decision-making
* Language: Fluent English; German skills are desirable
