We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Business Assistant with native-level proficiency in German and Chinese to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a vital bridge for cross-border communication, ensuring seamless and accurate information flow across languages and cultures.
Key Responsibilities
Document Translation & Localization
* Translate company documents (e.g., contracts, reports, emails, marketing materials) between German, Chinese, and English, adhering to industry-specific terminology and company style guidelines.
* Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure clarity and professionalism.
Meeting & Communication Support
* Provide simultaneous/consecutive interpretation for internal and external meetings (e.g., business negotiations, conference calls).
* Facilitate daily communication between internal teams, German clients, and international partners.
Administrative Coordination
* Organize, archive, and maintain translated documents and terminology databases .
* Assist with administrative tasks in Germany, including correspondence handling, government form submissions, and compliance documentation.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
* Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure translated content aligns with technical, regulatory, and branding requirements.
* Manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Language Skills
* Native-level fluency in German (C1/C2 or equivalent) and Chinese (mandatory).
* Exceptional ability to convey nuanced business terminology across languages.
Additional Skills
* Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
* Familiarity with German business culture and administrative procedures is a plus.
