We're looking for a detail-oriented Marine Interior Draftsman / Interior Engineer to join our design team. In this role, you will transform interior design concepts into precise technical drawings for cruise ships, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations. You'll collaborate with naval architects, engineers, and production teams to bring high-quality, functional, and safe marine interiors to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop 2D and 3D drawings for cabins, lounges, galleys, crew spaces, and other vessel interiors.
Prepare detailed joinery, furniture, and paneling drawings for production.
Ensure compliance with SOLAS, IMO, and class society regulations in all interior layouts.
Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate HVAC, piping, and electrical systems into interior designs.
Revise and update drawings based on design changes, surveys, and feedback.
Provide material specifications, cutting plans, and installation details for production teams.
What We're Looking For:
Diploma or degree in Drafting, Naval Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Rhino, ShipConstructor, or similar).
Knowledge of marine materials, joinery techniques, and outfitting processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, production-ready drawings.
Familiarity with marine safety and regulatory standards (IMO, SOLAS, class rules).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
