Manpower is recruiting an Indirect Tax & Financial Reporting Manager for one of its clients, an international group, for a position based in Luxembourg.
Your missions:
Monitor and review the preparation of VAT returns and recapitulative statements across multiple jurisdictions (BE, LU, IT, ES, DE, FR, NL, PL)
Ensure compliance with local and European indirect tax regulations
Provide VAT-related advice to internal stakeholders (Sales, AP, Logistics)
Prepare and oversee statistical tax reporting
Act as the main point of contact with tax authorities during audits
Support and contribute to VAT compliance automation initiatives
Manage and develop a team of 4 employees (technical support, review of tax returns)
Supervise and review the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and identify reporting discrepancies
Support analysts in the use of reporting tools
Liaise with group auditors
Your profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
7 to 10 years of experience in indirect tax compliance
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and IFRS standards
Proficiency in financial systems (SAP is a plus) and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
Proven ability to manage a team and work cross-functionally
Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
