Tasks:
* Development, implementation, and execution of global SHE strategies in line with the company vision, ESG goals, and local conditions
* Definition and further development of SHE standards, processes, and targets
* Leadership, further development, and close collaboration with global SHE teams and regional SHE organisations, exchange of best practices, and integration of global SHE standards into local work processes.
* Building a global SHE culture with a focus on prevention, ownership, and continuous improvement
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant national and international regulations and standards
* Design and implementation of global awareness campaigns and training programs
* Establishment of effective SHE reporting and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders
Your Profile:
* Degree in safety engineering, environmental sciences, engineering, or similar
* In-depth knowledge of national and international SHE standards and legal regulations
* Several years of management experience, especially in international teams
* At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in a global company in the chemical or plastics industry
* Expert knowledge of emission control, waste law, hazardous substances law, occupational health and safety
* In-depth knowledge of national and international SHE standards and legal regulations
* Confident use of MS Office products and eANV
* Very good German and English skills
