To further accelerate our growth and transformation, we are searching for an experienced Global Head of Digital Transformation as part of our Corporate Development team in Bad Homburg. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic evolution by designing, orchestrating, and executing digital transformation programs. The key responsibility areas are digital strategy, digital enablement and digital change.
This key role requires a visionary mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate complex strategic goals into concrete, impactful digital initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
Digital Strategy and Governance:
* Define and drive a comprehensive mid- and long-term digital transformation roadmap for Fresenius Kabi in close collaboration with corporate functions and the business segments.
* Shape the roadmap in direct alignment with the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring clear strategic priorities, sequencing, and value focus.
* Establish and operate a robust digital governance framework that enables transparent decision‑making, clear ownership, and effective prioritization across functions.
* Continuously identify, assess, and interpret digital and technology trends, providing senior management with actionable insights on emerging technologies and their strategic and business impact.
Digital Enablement:
* Identify, structure, and actively manage a portfolio of high‑impact digital initiatives and programs to proactively drive transformation (e.g., AI transformation programs, customer engagement initiatives).
* Orchestrate and lead these programs in strong alignment with business segments to unlock new growth opportunities and deliver measurable efficiency gains across the value chain.
* Own and steer the company‑wide AI program, ensuring strategic coherence, business relevance, and disciplined execution.
Digital Change & Upskilling:
* Embed a strong digital and change mindset across the organization. Ensure organizational readiness through targeted workforce capability building, stakeholder engagement, and structured change management.
* Drive adoption of new technologies by implementing scalable change approaches and systematically developing digital and AI‑related skills across functions and levels.
Leadership and team development:
* Lead, build, and continuously develop the Global Digital Transformation Team to ensure end‑to‑end delivery across digital strategy, enablement, and change.
* Recruit and develop critical roles including program managers, change managers, digital experts, and strategists.
* Establish strong project and program management capabilities to drive execution excellence and ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery of digital and AI-related initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
* Master's degree in business, engineering computing, or natural sciences; an MBA or PhD is a plus.
* Senior leader with 15+ years of experience in digital transformation, data insights, and digital capability building, ideally in global corporations and/or top-tier consulting firms.
* Experience in AI transformation programs preffered
* Proven leadership in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or medical devices sectors.
* Demonstrated ability to design, develop, implement, and scale digital projects and programs globally.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach.
* Resilient, self‑reliant, and entrepreneurial, with excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
* Expierienced in working with executives and C-level.
* Familiarity with international business environments and willingness to travel.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
