We are currently looking for 2 experienced Mud Men / Recycling System Operators to join a Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) project in Germany. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an experienced international crew, working on a long-term trenchless project.
As a Mud Man, you will play a key role in supporting drilling operations by:
* Operating and maintaining mud mixing and recycling systems
* Preparing drilling fluids based on ground conditions
* Monitoring viscosity, density, and flow rates
* Performing mud vacuuming and waste management
* Assisting with site logistics, hose connections, and setup
* Supporting the HDD crew during drilling and pullback operations
Requirements:
* Mud mixing systems, recycling units and vacuum systems
* Driving licence C + CE (required)
* Excavator licence (tracked or wheeled) – required for at least one of the operators
* English communication skills (German is a plus)
* Valid EU ID or German work permit
* Freelance documents
