About Our Network Engineering Role
We are seeking an experienced backbone engineer to contribute to the engineering, documentation, configuration and troubleshooting of our IP platforms.
As a backbone engineer, you will work closely with our pre-sales team to provide support for tailor-made enterprise connectivity projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring delivery and service configuration for these projects, as well as daily service quality follow-up and alarm handling.
You will also be responsible for solving incidents in collaboration with other teams, supporting field engineers and subcontractors remotely, and contributing to our 24/7 duty system.
* A Master's degree in telecommunication network engineering is required, along with at least 5 years of experience configuring, maintaining and improving service provider telecom networks.
* Advanced knowledge of IP/MPLS routing technology, BGP v4 and v6, traffic engineering, BNG, multicast routing and switching, security and Firewall (Filtering and IPSec VPN), and Cisco Switching and Routing are essential.
* Knowledge of DDOS mitigation and scripting languages is considered an asset.
