Area of responsibility
The IT Operations department at the Würzburg site operates and monitors the entire IT infrastructure and all IT processes of the German Pension Insurance Data Center (DSRV) as well as central services for all pension insurance providers. The Community Services team provides collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira for the entire German Pension Insurance system.
As a Senior Atlassian Administrator, you will be part of the administration team responsible for the secure and stable operation and further development of the central Jira and Confluence instances for the employees of the German Pension Insurance.
Your tasks
1. Designing and managing the use of Atlassian products and collaboration platforms
2. Implementing, providing, and further developing existing IT services
3. Monitoring the IT systems and IT services used, including the associated error analysis and troubleshooting
4. Providing cross-interface consulting and support for projects, teams, and departments regarding possible uses and application scenarios for Atlassian products
5. Designing, managing, and executing project work in close cooperation with pension insurance providers (across providers)
6. Participating in regular maintenance work to be carried out by the team (outside regular working hours (SOA), for example in the evenings and/or on weekends). Controlling, creating, maintaining, and updating documentation on Atlassian tools, user manuals, and troubleshooting tips.
Your profile
* Completed vocational training in IT or a university degree (bachelor's, diploma) in IT, such as business informatics, or a comparable qualification (e.g., business administrator) in IT, or comparable practical experience in IT relevant to the role
* Several years of experience in the IT field, ideally with the installation, configuration, or customization of Atlassian products (Jira or Confluence)
* Experience working with Linux operating systems, ideally RHEL or related distributions
* Knowledge and practical experience in scripting (e.g., with Shell, Python, JCL) as well as SQL knowledge Knowledge of relevant tools and languages (e.g., Ansible, Groovy, or similar)
* Desirable knowledge of REST interfaces for communication between web applications
* Practical experience in monitoring (Checkmk, Instana) as well as in project management and conceptual design is desirable.
* Business fluent German, both written and spoken, and very good English skills.
* Strong decision-making skills, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team, and openness to innovation round off your profile.
