Service Support Associate - Europe Job Summary: Provide service operations support related to the manufacturing and distribution of medical laser equipment to European customers. The Service Support Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of parts, consumables, loaner devices, and other materials required to support field service operations and customer needs. This role is responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and processing outgoing and incoming shipments while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to supporting a high-performing service organization. Key Responsibilities: Pick, pack, and prepare service parts, loaner devices, and tools for shipment according to service orders. Accurately process outgoing and incoming shipments using ERP and carrier systems (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight forwarders). Ensure that shipments comply with EU and local customs regulations, including the creation of proper documentation (commercial invoices, customs declarations, etc.). Review and validate sales orders in Salesforce and CSI (or similar systems), ensuring order accuracy and payment readiness. Oversee the full order fulfilment process—from picking and packing to final shipment—for both customer and internal orders. Receive, inspect, and process returned parts, verifying against documentation and determining the next steps (restocking, evaluation, or disposal). Support inventory management, including cycle counts and inventory audits during quarterly close-outs. Maintain accurate electronic Device History Records (eDHRs) by scanning and organizing all relevant shipping documentation. Collaborate and communicate with Technical Support, Field Service Engineers, and other teams involved in shipping and logistics. Assist with internal and external customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Represent the company professionally when interacting with vendors, freight providers, and delivery personnel. Support process improvements and assist with audits or compliance reviews as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements 1–2 years of experience in a similar logistics, shipping, or operations support role (ideally in a regulated or manufacturing environment). Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., CSI, SAP, Oracle) and shipping platforms. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail. Ability to follow established processes and work independently. Strong communication skills—fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus. Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or aerospace) is an advantage. Right to work in Germany and/or the European Union. Compensation and Benefits The pay range for this position is €21.63 - €24.04 per hour (gross). In addition to a competitive market-based wage, Sciton offers the opportunity to participate in a global equity program (subject to role and eligibility), an annual performance bonus, paid holiday leave in accordance with German labor laws, retirement contributions and social insurance benefits, as well as opportunities for learning, development, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic and growing company.
