In this role, you will develop scalable and robust Python services that are used by other development teams and integrated into core business processes. You will work closely with various teams to continuously improve our platform and deliver efficient, future-proof solutions. Your expertise in software architecture and system design will play a key role in shaping our technical landscape. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of key parts of the software development lifecycle, initially focusing on implementation, and later extending to requirements analysis and architecture Develop high-performance, event-driven, and secure software solutions in Python Collaborate closely with Quality and Operations Engineers to ensure the highest standards in stability, security, and maintainability Perform error analysis, debugging, and performance optimization to identify and eliminate bottlenecks What you'll need At least three years of experience in software development with Python, particularly with FastCGI and Flask Experience in API design and developing RESTful services Knowledge of database integration (SQL/NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis) Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes Experience with cloud applications and microservice architectures Familiarity with agile methodologies and a strong focus on continuous improvement Proactive and adaptable working style with a broad understanding of the software stack Openness to new technologies and technical challenges Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken What you can expect At Retarus, you will work on impactful and dynamic projects, with real opportunities to make a difference.
