Job Overview
This role entails the development and enhancement of internal risk management systems to ensure policies and procedures are in place for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risks.
Covering credit, ICT, operational, reputational, liquidity, market, and FX risks, this officer will oversee outsourced functions, review and document internal controls, and support automation of controls.
Maintaining regulatory control environments, identifying improvements, and providing advice to senior leadership is also a key aspect of the role, as well as reporting findings to senior executives and the Board of Directors.
* The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields, with proven experience in risk management, internal controls, or compliance, preferably in financial services or regulated industries.
* A strong understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory requirements, analytical skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.
