HVAC TECHNICIAN is required by our client, a project solutions provider, to be assigned on a contract basis, located in Richland, Washington.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Identify and recommend ceramics (domestic and international requirements) processing improvements supporting a 30% increase too Richland HRR operations NLT 2030.
* Develop draft design plan for Richland Horn Rapids Road (HRR) workshops (ceramics) assigned.
* Identify and develop action plans for project milestones.
* Recommend items for procurement.
* Identify and develop risks for resolution.
* Refine study scope for areas of assignment (ceramics).
* Identify equipment obsolescence and equipment reaching end of useful life.
* Identify and provide recommendations to improve existing equipment for upgrade/replacement.
* Inform scenario development.
* Help to inform project roadmap
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
* High school diploma or GED required.
* 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in industrial or manufacturing environments.
* Experience supporting facility upgrades, system expansions, or capacity increase initiatives.
* Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including air handling units (AHUs), chillers, boilers, exhaust systems, and environmental control systems.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and layout plans.
