Job Description
Our R&D Snke Edge team develops the hardware for our future Digital O.R. and Image Guided Surgery portfolio. These state-of-the-art medical systems offer our customers easy access to the Snke OS software capabilities of today and tomorrow.
The R&D Snke Edge team is a team of highly skilled engineers. The cross functional team consists of experts in every field of engineering: project, mechanical, hardware, PCB, FPGA, bare metal software, Linux kernel and user space, micro services, system integration, CI and verification.
We are looking for a (Senior) Agile Coach who shares our passion and is willing to tackle our challenges with us. If you are hands-on, curious and want to actively work with the project team to deliver medical products, we would love to hear from you.
As an Agile Coach, your responsibilities would be to:
* Ensure the team understands the why behind Agile—not just the mechanics, but the mindset.
* Clear (and support others in clearing) organizational hindrances and keep agile process consistent and efficient in a medical device development environment.
* Help define and reinforce roles (defined in the Snke/Brainlab Working Model) to ensure accountability and collaboration.
* Empower the team to take ownership of their work, make decisions collaboratively, and continuously improve.
* Guide and moderate Agile ceremonies to ensure they are purposeful, time-efficient, and yield actionable outcomes.
* Support the Product Owner and team in creating and maintaining a clear, prioritized, and actionable backlog.
* Adapt Agile principles to fit the unique challenges of a hybrid hardware/software development environment.
Qualifications
* Successfully completed technical university degree and 2+ years’ relevant work experience
* 2+ years of experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master
* Experience with cross-functional teams in software as well as physical product development
* Experience in coaching, mentoring and facilitation
* Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities
* Self-managed, with solid problem-solving skills
* Fluent written and spoken English
Following experience would be considered a plus:
* Experience in medical device development
* Fluent written and spoken German
